Kim Snider

Kim Snider is the Founder and President of Snider Advisors. Kim developed the proven cash-flow investment strategy known as the Snider Investment Method™ for her own use and has been teaching it to others since 1999.

Kim is an author, speaker and host of Financial Success Coaching, Saturdays at noon, on KRLD Newsradio 1080, Dallas - Fort Worth. She has two blogs, Kimmunications and the Snider Insider, primarily devoted to investing for retirement, managing risk, and low-risk, high yield investments.

Kim's life prior to Snider Advisors includes a very diverse business background. She has worked in senior management and senior executive capacities within the hospitality, computer and telecommunications industry. Kim also has made her living as an options trader and plays polo.

Kim holds a Series 65 license from the NASD for Registered Investment Advisor Representatives. She is a member of the National Speaker's Association and sits on the Investment Committee. Kim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Chris Yates

Chris is originally from Bradford, England. His responsibilities at Snider Advisors include strategic planning, market development, partner relationships and team development. Away from the office Chris has a passion for anything that goes fast – really fast! He particularly enjoys racing his vintage cars and skiing.

Shelley Seagler

Shelley graduated from Texas Woman’s University and embarked on an educational career that has spanned over a decade. Teaching in both public and corporate institutions has developed her extensive knowledge and understanding of learning theories and styles. Her previous students range in age from 4-84 and without exception have all brought something unique and meaningful to her life.

In recent years Shelley’s plight and passion has been to help families reach new levels of financial sanity and security. That desire led her to be a successful realtor in the DFW Metroplex and to teaching the two-day Snider Investment Method workshop.

Shelley is a member if the National Speaker’s Association and is a proud daughter of the Lone Star state.

Alison Abney

Alison brings an accomplished teaching career to Snider Advisors. Before joining our company, Alison specialized in teaching gifted students, making her a perfect fit for leading the bright and inquisitive students of the Snider Investment Method Workshop.

Alison holds bachelor’s degrees in education and journalism from Stephen F. Austin State University and a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Her background includes working as an accountant and as a public relations specialist. The native Texan also has a passion for travel (she’s lived in Europe three times), photography, finance and investing, and has competed in a number of triathlons.

James Pecht

James is a Dallas native whose media experience runs the gamut. He has been a DJ and on-air personality for a 70's radio station, a news reporter for KRLD-AM in Dallas, a reporter and anchor at KBTX-TV in Bryan-College Station, Texas, and a copy editor at The Dallas Morning News.

James is our resident grammarian and wordsmith, an indefatigable defender of the English language. He often throws big words around just for fun.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Southern Methodist University and cheers his Ponies on through thick and thin. (Admittedly, it’s been mostly thin lately.) He lives in Dallas with his wife, Jenny, and their 1-year-old daughter, Julie.
